Canvas Roster Behavior

Once a GitHub Classroom is synced with Canvas, an instructor may not manually add a student to the Classroom roster. Due to the Canvas LTI integration managing the classroom roster, you are not able to link student GitHub accounts if they are not on the Canvas roster.

However, students not registered in Canvas can still be sent an assignment link and can submit them, but they will show up as an unlinked account.
